NOE AOKI

Several days ago, after consecutively winning the 33th Teijiro Nakahara Prize for Excellence and the 20th Exhibition of Contemporary Japanese Sculpture: Shimonoseki City Art Museum Prize, and despite being very busy, Noe Aoki has started to make new prints at Edition Works. We plan to present the prints through several galleries from May next year. Although it has not been completely decided yet, we plan to make some large woodblock prints and color etchings with Aoki.

While checking the proof Aoki continues to cut the block. In the back right corner is the woodblock press machine.
